Lee's Sensation Club or Lee's Club Sensations was not located in Paradise Valley but was in the North End located at 1300 Owen. It was a Black and Tan that was opened in 1944 by black businessman Uzziel Lee.  Lee came to Detroit from Alabama in 1923.  Like many migrants, he began working in a factory before opening his first business, a shoeshine parlor.  Next, he opened a confectionery and put a tavern in the rear of it before opening the nightclub.  His club was known for its talent shows.
